The Temple Lung Center is highly recognized for its treatment of the most complex lung problems. Diseases treated at the Temple Lung Center include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and emphysema.
At Temple, patients will find an active and innovative pulmonary research program. Temple physicians and researchers are leaders in finding safer and more effective therapies for all stages of lung disease. This robust research program means that Temple doctors can provide their patients with access to options not found at most hospitals. In some cases, the Temple Lung Center may be able to improve the health of people who have been told nothing more can be done for them.
Temple Health is a member of Philadelphia International Medicine (PIM), a collaboration between several prominent Philadelphia medical centers. PIM connects patients from outside the United States to physicians, surgeons and healthcare services at member hospitals. Working together, PIM and Temple provide scheduling support, financial and billing services, visa assistance, interpretation services, family support and more for international patients.
